Broadstairs Bacchanalia

So, I'm reminded that September isn't actually that far off (yikes), and kat_lair and I thought it would be a good idea to give a bit of an update.

So far, we have 11 tentative people confirmed for the weekend and we are absolutely fracking thrilled!!

We've got some ideas of stuff we can do already, but we can discuss that later! If anybody has any ideas please post HERE

Because of the relatively small group, kat_lair has graciously offered to hold the get-together at her home, rather than try and find somewhere to rent for a couple of days.

She lives in St Peters, which is about 15 minutes walk from Broadstairs station, which is then about 25/30 minutes walk from the beach. The train station and the town are in the same direction. We do still intend to go into Broadstairs proper, especially on the Friday afternoon/evening.


ACCOMMODATION


The important thing now though is accommodation.

You'll all have to book your own rooms I'm afraid but it shouldn't be too much of a problem this far in advance.

We thought we'd post some accommodation links. You definitely need to be booking to stay in Broadstairs or St Peters. Margate and Ramsgate will have a number of links as well, but both of these are one or two train stops away from Broadstairs.
